The Greatest Adventure Games Of All Time

Black Mirror III

The final installment is the capstone of this popular series and a charm. The first two games were adventurous in their own ways but the interesting finale builds well on the foundation of the predecessors. The haunting dark atmosphere returns, with the appealing visual design. It ties together the loose strings of the Gordon family curse in a rewarding conclusion. It has a thoroughly exciting end to the mystery trilogy.

Edna & Harvey: The Breakout

You need not be slightly insane to enjoy Edna & Harvey: The Breakout but it surely helps a great deal. This is a story of a teenage asylum patient Edna. She seeks to break free of her imprisonment to learn the facts of her past that have been erased from her mind. She has all the wits about her. She has a stuffed rabbit named Harvey who is really adorable. The game is crammed with optional interactivity. This is an exciting challenge for those who pin for the days of SCUMM era adventure. It has the nostalgia of the old school adventure games.

Gray Matter:

After a long time Jane Jensen returns to the adventure game genre. The master storyteller has surely not lost her touch since Gabriel knight 3. This is an emotionally charged, haunting story that has a fine line between supernatural and science. A young rebel street magician helps a harassed neurobiologist in the dangerous psychic experiments. This would be the best choice for story and character driven game fans. The story is the focus of the game and the most impressive part. But, considering the years it has taken for development it is not an instant classic.

Back to the future: The game

Twenty five years after the original movie released the capcitator – a house hold name, the most adored series has been revived. It is now a new five part episode of adventure. Marty McFly Brown has been voiced by Christopher Lloyd and the time travelling DeLorean are back for another round of adventure. There is a change to a more cartoon driven presentation. Surely, the presentation has not missed even a bit. It is a charming, humorous adventure that is similar to the film.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
